I recently purchased a Motorola Droid from Verizon. I have been extremely pleased with it up to this point. I would have to say that my current favorite application is locale. Basically locale will adjust your phone settings based on conditions. For example when I arrive at work locale will automatically change my ring tone to vibrate to prevent embarrassing situations from occurring during meetings or other work events. At this point locale is the only application that I have actually purchased. The rest of my applications are either built in or free on the android market.
